One Small Chance Book Drive
From February to March 16, One Small Chance is hosting a community book drive to expand access to books in low-literacy communities across the Greater Richmond area. All donated books will be distributed to students and families in neighborhoods where access to age-appropriate, engaging reading materials is limited.
What We’re Collecting
We are accepting new and gently used books in the following categories:
Picture books
Graphic novels
Children’s books
Teen & Young Adult (YA) books
Adult books
Multilingual books (especially Spanish and bilingual titles)
📌 Books should be in good condition (no excessive damage, missing pages, or writing).

You can drop off donations at the following locations:
Collection boxes will be available throughout March 16.
Where the Books Go?
All donations support low-literacy rate areas in the Greater Richmond region and the Charlottesville area, helping students build reading confidence, improve academic outcomes, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
