One Small Chance Book Drive

From February to March 16, One Small Chance is hosting a community book drive to expand access to books in low-literacy communities across the Greater Richmond area. All donated books will be distributed to students and families in neighborhoods where access to age-appropriate, engaging reading materials is limited.

What We’re Collecting

We are accepting new and gently used books in the following categories:

  • Picture books

  • Graphic novels

  • Children’s books

  • Teen & Young Adult (YA) books

  • Adult books

  • Multilingual books (especially Spanish and bilingual titles)

📌 Books should be in good condition (no excessive damage, missing pages, or writing).

Collection boxes will be available throughout March 16.

Where the Books Go?

All donations support low-literacy rate areas in the Greater Richmond region and the Charlottesville area, helping students build reading confidence, improve academic outcomes, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
