Chance Archer
President and Founder
Chance Archer is an 18-year-old social impact leader, Posse Scholar, and founder of One Small Chance. A graduate of the Advanced College Academy, Chance earned his associate degree before his high school diploma. He will attend the University of Virginia on a full-ride scholarship, studying Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law with a double major in Spanish.
Chance’s leadership has earned widespread recognition. He was named the 2025 Hanover Volunteerism Award Spirit of Youth recipient and honored with the Principal’s Medallion for Service at his senior awards ceremony.
He has been publicly recognized by Senator Ryan McDougle, the Hanover County Public School Board, and featured by Channel 6 News, Channel 8 News, the Hear in Hanover Podcast, Hanover County Blog, and the Mechanicsville–Ashland Local.
With empathy as his compass and advocacy as his mission, Chance continues to speak on youth leadership, equity, and public service across schools, organizations, and social platforms driven by one belief: lasting change begins when someone is given one small chance.
